Tents for Troops needs your help! Our continued effort to offer free RV & tent camping to active military presses on! An online petition, at the White House's We The People webpage, must receive 25,000 signatures by May 1st. With this petition, we ask President Barack Obama to issue an executive order that requires ALL parks & campgrounds on federally owned land to provide FREE camping for all active US military and their family. In order to sign it you must register with your name and email address and must confirm your email address via a confirmation email message from the site. Once registered you may add your name to the support of this request. This is a very small thing you can do to help tell our military thank you! Please help us pass the word about both Tents for Troops and the upcoming petition. We need all the signatures we can get. The petition will only be signable for the month of April; please act on this!
As a very small way of saying "Thank You" for all of the hard work and sacrifices men and women in the military make, campgrounds and RV parks around the nation would like to offer free camping for active military. Please visit our Camp Locations page to find a participating park near where you wish to spend some R & R. Active military will be required to present active military I.D. at the time of check in. The offer is for active military and members of their immediate family only. Please call the park directly for reservations. Reservations are required.
